I spent today at the old Power Plant! It sure was scary in there! There were so many electric Pokemon!
I caught a Magnemite ("Magnette"), a Voltorb ("Volty"), and an Electabuzz ("Buzz")!

Well, they're real! I ran into Zapdos at the Power Plant! O_O

Today I caught a Psyduck ("Quackie"), a Tentacool ("Jillie"), a Shellder ("Clammy"), a Tangela ("BadHairDay"...yes, I can be a meanie...), a Grimer ("Barfy"), and a Koffing ("Stinky"), which evolved into a Weezing right after I caught it! That, or it caught cancer. I'm not really sure. O_O;;
Also, SABELETTE evolved into a Sandslash!
Now that I can Surf on Donnie, there are some places I want to go that I noticed before but couldn't get to...I also want to do some serious training for a little while, because the gyms keep getting tougher all the time.

Whoo...the Fuschia Gym was full of tough trainers and sneaky trick walls! Just what you'd expect when the leader is a ninja! But I finally made it to Koga, and it was one of the toughest battles I've faced yet because his poison-type Pokemon were amazingly strong...
But I won!
I GOT A SOUL BADGE!!
And also a TM that teaches Toxic, which is the nastiest of all Poison-type moves!
And I am totally exhausted. z.z

I've spent the last few days training and getting to know all my Pokemon better.
While I was searching for new trainers to challenge, I met the younger brother of the guy who gave me my first fishing rod. He gave me a really really SUPER fishing rod! Awesome!
I got some new, rare Pokemon while I was training! I caught a Ditto ("Blobby")! I also got a Lickitung ("MARC") and a Jynx ("ZYNX") in trades!
Also, a couple of my Pokemon evolved! Plopper evolved into a Pidgeot! Teenie evolved into a Dragonair!
Also, I learned something very interesting today! A trainer I met told me about three legendary bird Pokemon that may or may not exist. They're called Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. I wonder...if they're real...maybe I could even catch one of them?
Hah! Wouldn't that be something?
Now, it's time to take on Koga at the Fuschia City Gym.

There was a notice on the bulletin board at the Pokemon Center this morning. A trainer was looking to trade for Safari Zone Pokemon, because he had no luck whatsoever when it came to catching rare Pokemon in the Safari Zone. He was offering a bunch of Pokemon I don't have, so I decided to make another safari run, catch extras of the Pokemon he needed, and trade!
I was a little worried that somebody would beat me to it and the Pokemon I wanted would already be traded away, but I was the very first trader who showed up!
I got SO MANY NEW POKEMON trading with him it blew my mind! Here's the list:
It's obvious he got a couple of those through trades himself. He had a weird taste in Pokemon nicknames, but it's cool. I'm just happy to have so many more new Pokemon friends! I'm sure Professor Oak will be happy too!
And now, it's time to start training.

The Safari Zone was a lot of fun! There's lots of cool rare Pokemon there! I caught a Scyther ("Sharpay"), an Exeggcute ("Sheldon"), a Doduo ("Peckie"), a Rhyhorn ("Roxie"), a Chansey ("Joy"), a Kangaskhan ("Big Momma"), and a Tauros ("Bully")! Chanseys are SUPER SUPER SUPER RARE, so I'm totally lucky to have caught one!!
Oh, I also got a ton of cool stuff!
Tomorrow, I'm going to start training for the next gym battle. I've heard that the gym here in Fuschia City is really tough, and with all the new Pokemon I have, I need to find out just what they can do so I know which ones to take!

Just when I'm finally able to take the Cycling Road to Fuschia City, wouldn't you know it? There's a BIKER GANG hanging out there! A bunch of rude, crude, ugly, obnoxious bullying bikers with lots of gross poison Pokemon! UGH!!
By the time I finally got to Fuschia City, I was too worn out to do anything but get my Pokemon tended to and get a room to crash in. Tomorrow, though, I'm checking out the Pokemon Zoo and the Safari Zone.

I went to Celadon City and woke up that other Snorlax blocking the path to the Cycling Road. It was an easier battle this time because I knew what to expect. I didn't catch this one because I don't really need two. I just chased it off. It went back into the mountains.

I woke up the Snorlax south of Lavender Town, and BOY was it mad! That was one of the longest battles I've ever had...it was so incredibly strong, and kept healing itself by falling asleep! But...after a very long, very tiring day of throwing everything I had at it...
I caught a Snorlax!! I named him "Totoro".
Now I need to sleep....g'nite.... z_z

They totally are! With the Silph Scope, I was able to identify the ghosts in the tower in Lavender Town...
...and they're Pokemon! I caught a Cubone ("Clubber") and a Ghastly ("Gassie")!
Apparently, the Pokeghosts in the tower were pretty ticked off about something, because they went wild and started possessing the priestesses that watch over the graves. They all attacked me! It turns out that all the ruckus was caused by the spirit of a Marowak. I defeated it, and everything quieted down...
...except for the Team Rocket goons on the top floor! Ugh, I am getting so SICK of these guys!! They were bullying this nice old man who takes care of orphaned Pokemon. I took care of them, and he gave me a flute that will wake up sleeping Pokemon. Maybe I can wake up those lazy Snorlax with this...

I'm in Saffron City now, and things aren't looking good...Team Rocket has taken over the entire town! They won't let me into the Saffron City Pokemon Gym!
The only place I can get into is an unofficial "gym" next door to the Saffron City Gym...but the Pokemon and trainers in there are scary tough, so I'll check that out later. It stinks like sweat anyway!
Since there's nothing for me to do in Saffron City with those Rocket goons running all over the place, I decided to head west out of Celadon City to check out the "Cycling Road" I heard about while I was shopping in Celadon. But there was another stupid Snorlax blocking the way! AAAAARGH! But I found an HM for Fly, so now I can get around a lot easier! I decided to go back to every place I've already been, just for the heck of it!
In Pewter City, a scientist at the Museum gave me a chunk of amber that might contain ancient Pokemon DNA!
While I was playing around, Blaze evolved into a Charmeleon, Midori evolved into an Ivysaur, and Akane evolved into a Machamp!
Now that I'm done going back to everyplace I've been, I'm going to rest up, then tomorrow I'm going back to Lavender Town...I need to know if the rumors about this scope thingie are true.

This morning I met a boy who was just starting out his Pokemon journey! He had a Bulbasaur his sister gave him and a Charmander he got for his birthday, but he wanted a Meowth and an Oddish (what a weird kid!), so I caught a couple extra and traded with him. Now I have a Bulbasaur ("Midori") and a Charmander ("Blaze")!
Also, Rocky and Trixie evolved this morning! So I have a Golem and an Alakazam now too. Sweet!

I spent all day at the Game Corner in Celadon City, and boy did it ever pay off! I've got a brand new Dratini ("Teenie") and a Porygon ("Biscuit")!
I noticed some suspicious guys hanging around while I was playing, and I couldn't help but snoop around a little...and I found a secret Team Rocket lair underneath the Game Corner!
Those Rocket goons caught me snooping around and attacked me! I beat their lame Pokemon and made my way deeper into the base, where I met the boss of Team Rocket. I defeated him in battle, and when the battle was over, everything went pitch black, and when the lights came back on, that nasty gangster was gone! He dropped a Silph Scope, though...I've been hearing about that thing since I was in Lavender Town. I guess it lets you see ghosts or something...?
While I was in the Rocket base, Meowsie evolved into a Persian!

Erika, the leader of the Celadon City Gym, is the toughest opponent I've faced yet! Her Grass-type Pokemon were super-powerful and the battle was intense! And yet, somehow...

Erika also gave me a TM for Giga Drain, which is one majorly monster move.
Since I've been on the road, training and battling for over two weeks now, tomorrow I'm going to relax and have fun at the Game Corner here in Celadon City. I think I've earned a little break!

Celadon City is such a huge, busy-busy place! There's a massive department store and this huge mansion where a nice guy gave me an Eevee! There's also a Pokemon Gym, and this casino that's kind of shady. I saw some Rockets hanging around in the town, too...something's fishy here.
Spent the morning shopping, and in a little while I'm going to scope out the Gym.

On the way to Saffron City, Fuzzy evolved into a Primeape, and Diggy evolved into a Dugtrio! I also caught a Growlithe ("Growlie")! A lot of trainers were lined up outside the gate to Saffron. It turns out the gate guard is in a cranky mood and wouldn't let anyone through! What a meanie! Why are all Saffron City's gate guards such jerks?! So I decided to use the underground path near the gate to get to Celadon City.

Happy Halloween everybody!
Wow, it's really fitting that I'm in Lavender Town on Halloween, because this place is KUH-REE-PY!! There's this big tower that's full of Pokemon graves and it's supposed to be haunted. There's no Pokemon Gym here, and everyone living in this town seems really depressed. I took a peek inside the tower and saw these spooky ghosts, couldn't figure out what they were, and my Pokemon all got scared and so did I and we all ran away and THAT PLACE IS REALLY SCARY!!!!! I don't think I want to stay the night in this town two nights in a row. I gotta get out of here!!
Before I do though, there are some things to take care of. There's a guy here who has the power to make Pokemon forget their nickname so you can give them a new one! Thinking about it, I decided some of my Pokemon really need a new nickname since their old one doesn't really fit anymore. I renamed my Butterfree "Fluttery", my Fearow "Beakie", and my Gyarados "Stevie"!
Oh, and I ran into that jerk Gary again.

Rock Tunnel was a scary place, full of tough Pokemon and challenging trainers! I made it through somehow, and caught a Machop ("Akane") and an Onix ("Stony")! All the Pokemon that went through with me got a LOT stronger!
The craziest thing that happened in the Rock Tunnel...Carpie evolved into a big, scary GYARADOS! O_O!! Who knew?
By the time I got out of that stupid tunnel, I was so exhausted I nearly fainted at the door of the Pokemon Center! I need a long hot bath and a really long nap in a nice comfy bed...

I tried to go to Route 12, which is east of Vermilion City, but there's a stupid Snorlax blocking the path that just won't wake up! I guess the only thing I can do for now is backtrack to Cerulean City and take the Rock Tunnel passage to Lavender Town. Good thing I have a Pokemon with Flash!

Also, a guy near the Diglett Cave wanted to trade his Mr. Mime for an Abra, so I caught an extra one and gave it to him! Now I have a Mr. Mime ("MIMIEN")!

What a busy day!
I made it to Vermilion City, and a lot of things happened! First, I met some people in Vermilion City who gave me some stuff, including voucher for a free bicycle from the Cerulean City bike shop, and a fishing rod so I can catch Pokemon that live in the water! Then, I battled some local trainers...easy pickings! While I was battling, Skippy evolved into a Gloom!
I traded a wild Spearow I caught for a Farfetch'd...with a really stupid name. "CH'DING" is all it responds to. Why the heck did that girl I got him from name him something that lame? Oh well.
There's a party on the SS Anne this evening...I made it just in time! I'll go to the party, then rest up for tomorrow's gym battle with the Vermilion gym leader, Lt. Surge.

I've spent the last three days doing nothing but training all the Pokemon I've caught since I left Pallet Town. Given how tough some of the battles I've had so far have been, I need to be ready for anything that may lie down the road.
While I was training, I caught a Meowth (Meowsie), and some of my Pokemon evolved! Trixie evolved into a Kadabra! Plopper evolved into a Pidgeotto! Tweety evolved into a Fearow!
Tomorrow morning, I'm saying my final goodbye to Cerulean City and heading to Vermilion City.

So I'm on my way to train south of Cerulean City when guess what? I run into Team Rocket again! They'd busted up some couple's house to steal a Dig TM. Why would they do something so awful? I found the guy that took it and got it back from him after an intense Pokemon battle, but the guy who got robbed managed to teach his Pokemon Dig without it, so now it's mine.

After I had lunch and went shopping, my Pokemon were rested enough to continue on to the cape. There, I found out that Bill had managed to have some kind of weird transporter accident and merge himself with a Pokemon! I helped him unstick himself, and he gave me a ticket to a party on the S.S. Anne as a reward. Cool, I've always wanted to go to a fancy party!
Also, while battling on the way to Bill's place, Nidonido evolved into a Nidorino!
By the time I got back to Cerulean City, I was exhausted, so Misty and the next badge will have to wait until tomorrow...

Ahh, Cerulean City is such a nice place!
While I was checking out the town, I heard that a famous rare Pokemon collector lives out on the cape north of here. I decided I'd head up to see if I could have a look at his rare Pokemon, and before I even got out of town, I ran into that jerk Gary! Oooooh, I hate him! He challenged me to a battle, of course. His Pokemon have gotten a lot stronger! I pulled out a win somehow, though. And after the battle, Nidanida evolved into a Nidorina! Kinda...scary-looking, actually...
So anyways, I was heading up to the cape, and there were a lot of trainers hanging out on the bridge north of town! They all wanted to battle! None of them were very tough, so I won easily, and at the end of the bridge this guy gave me a gold nugget...then asked me to join Team Rocket! When I refused, he attacked! Turns out the whole thing on the bridge was a great big Team Rocket recruiting trap! I beat the Rocket thug, so no worries, AND I got a totally sweet gold nugget out of it!
After I left the Rocket idiots behind, I noticed there were a whoooooooole lot more trainers hanging out on the path from Cerulean City to the cape, and my Pokemon were a little worn out from all the battling, so I decided to head back to town and rest up a bit. Plus, I had to sell that awesome nugget and do a little shopping!

I'm so completely exhausted!
I finally made it through Mt. Moon. There's some really nasty creepy guys down there called Team Rocket! They're this big gang of Pokemon thieves, and they were in Mt. Moon looking for some rare Pokemon fossils!
Way deep inside Mt. Moon, I ran into this dork who was collecting Pokemon fossils. The second he saw me, he thought I was there to steal his fossils, and he whipped out his Pokemon to battle me! I beat him, and he agreed to let me have one of his fossils. I was going to tell him I never wanted his stupid old fossil in the first place, but then he said there's a lab on Cinnabar Island that can clone extinct Pokemon from fossils! I thought Professor Oak might be interested in that, so I went ahead and took a fossil.
Oh, and the coolest thing happened! After I kicked that weirdo's butt, Donnie evolved into a Wartortle!
On the way to Cerulean City, I ran into two guys who offered to teach my Pokemon some new moves. Rocky learned Mega Punch, and Fuzzy learned Mega Kick. Awesome! Also, this totally creepy Ekans jumped out at me and scared me! I caught it and named it "Coily".
Anyway, I'm totally wiped out, and my Pokemon need time to rest before we start training to challenge the Cerulean City gym. I've heard that Misty, the leader there, is way tough...

Before I headed out for Mt. Moon, I caught another Nidoran! This one's a female, so I named her "Nidanida".
Mt. Moon is a dangerous, scary place! I don't think I can make it all the way through today. All my Pokemon got tired from battling, and I got all dirty!
I caught some new Pokemon, though! A Zubat ("Battie"), an incredibly gross Paras ("Mushybug"), and a Geodude ("Rocky")!

Wow, what an exhausting day!
I made it to the Pokemon Center at the entrance to Mt. Moon, but it took forever because there were a whole bunch of Pokemon trainers out looking for battles today, and every single one of them wanted to battle me! A couple of the boys I battled are really hung up on shorts! Weirdos!!
Oh, some other things happened today too! Wormy evolved into a Butterfree! So pretty! I guess Wormy isn't a very good name for him anymore! Stingie evolved into a Beedrill! Scary-looking! Also, I caught some new Pokemon! I got a Jigglypuff ("Puffie") and a Nidoran ("Nidonido")!

My Pokemon showed a lot of improvement after just a few hours of training! After we rested up and had lunch, I decided to test them (and me!!) against the Pewter Gym Leader, Brock.
I WON!!!!!
I wasn't expecting to beat Brock so easily, but it really was nothing! And even better, Stingie evolved into a Kakuna! Awesome!

Brock also gave me a TM that teaches Rock Tomb. I saw his Onix use it, and it was pretty impressive...as soon as I get a Rock or Ground type Pokemon, maybe I'll use it...
The next Pokemon Gym is in Cerulean City. But that's a REALLY long hike from here, so I'll rest up and start out first thing in the morning.
Oh, almost forgot! I called Professor Oak to let him know how things are going, and he's impressed that I already got 10 different Pokemon!

Getting through the Viridian Forest yesterday was hard and exhausting, so as soon as I got to the Pokemon Center, I crashed. I spent a little while playing with and cuddling Chuchu (my new Pikachu), then it was off to bed.
I got up early this morning and wandered around Pewter City a bit. There's a pretty cool museum here. I also stopped by the Pokemon Gym, but I didn't challenge the leader, Brock, yet, because I watched him battling some other trainer and it was scary! I don't think my Pokemon would stand a chance against his. So I'm going to spend a little time training them first.
...hey, just because I'm new to raising Pokemon, doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing. I have studied, y'know!!

Bugs. Are. So. GROSS!!
It's bad enough the Viridian Forest is crawling with icky bugs, it's also crawling with gross boys who love collecting bugs! And they all want you to fight their icky gross disgusting nasty bugs!
Even though I don't like bugs, I caught some bug Pokemon since they're still Pokemon and Professor Oak wants me to catch and record as many as I can for the Pokedex. He owes me one for this!!
It's just my luck that the very first time I ever saw a Pokemon evolve, it was a stupid bug...
But guess what!! I CAUGHT A PIKACHU!! Ohmygosh ohmygosh, I've always wanted a Pikachu! They're SOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!! Squeeeee!!

The last thing I wanted to see first thing in the morning was Gary Oak's stupid face! He was frustrated because the guards at the Pokemon League wouldn't let him in, so he decided to have a battle with me. I kicked his butt again, and he wandered off all snotty. JERK!
On top of that, a Spearow clobbered my poor Fuzzy! After Nurse Joy makes him all better, I'm heading to the Viridian Forest.

Hi! I'm Bonnie! I'm from Pallet Town! Today, I'm starting my Pokemon journey!
I'm so lucky to live close to Professor Oak's lab, even if it means I also have to live next door to his nasty jerk of a grandson, Gary. Today, Professor Oak gave me my very own Pokemon! It's a Squirtle. I call him Donnie. He also gave Gary a Bulbasaur. We had a Pokemon battle right there in the lab! It was my first ever Pokemon battle, but me and Donnie won! I think we're gonna be good friends...
After we rested up at home, we headed to Viridian City. We ran into some wild Pidgeys on the way—good thing I had Donnie! Those pesky birds were no match for my cute little Squirtle.
Once we got to Viridian City, I stopped by the Pokemon Center—it's great that anyone can just walk in and rest up their Pokemon anytime they want, for free!—and then I wanted to do some shopping, but as soon as I stepped into the Viridian City Pokemart, I got roped into making a delivery to Professor Oak! So, it's back home to Pallet Town for now...
It's a good thing I had to go back anyway, because it turns out Professor Oak wanted to give me and Gary something: the Pokedex, a device for recording information on the various Pokemon in the world. He also gave me five Pokeballs, so I can capture wild Pokemon! How cool is that? Now my Pokemon journey can really begin...
After I picked up a map of Kanto from Gary's sister Daisy, I headed back to Viridian City. On the way there, I caught a Rattata (which I named "Rattie") and a Pidgey (which I named "Plopper" because it pooped on me...that's so embarrassing!).
Once I got back to Viridian City, I went shopping! I bought some more Pokeballs, some Potions (because I don't want my new friends to get hurt!) and some Antidotes (because I've heard there are some poisonous Pokemon hanging around here...)
Since I have some Pokeballs now, I decided to spend some time looking for new Pokemon around Viridian City. I caught a Mankey! I named him Fuzzy because he's kinda fuzzy.
The gym in Viridian City is all closed down and locked up. They told me the best thing I can do for now is head over to Pewter City, but to get there I have to go through the scary Viridian Forest.
