These are some of the people I've met since I moved to Inaba. (This doesn't include the people I'm investigating the Midnight Channel with.)
DOJIMA RYOTARO (堂島 遼太郎)
My uncle, who I'm living with while I'm in Inaba. He's a police detective, and frequently works such long hours that he's almost never home for meals. He's a very serious, stern man, and most of the time he seems...very tired.
I guess that makes sense, since he's the lead detective on the series of incidents happening here...
Ojisan definitely knows I'm tangled up in all this craziness, but he doesn't want to come right out and confront me with it. The only time he's outright accused me of being involved is when he was falling-down drunk. I also now know that he's made many of the same deductions about the murders as the rest of us have.
Ojisan has finally come to terms with the fact that he can no longer run away from Nanako because she resembles his late wife so strongly, or be afraid to let people in...he's accepted that it's time to move on and become a family again.
Ojisan was badly injured in a chase with Namatame Tarou after Namatame kidnapped Nanako-chan. He repeatedly aggravated his injuries, slowing his recovery, but was finally out of the hospital by Christmas.
DOJIMA NANAKO (堂島 菜々子)
My little cousin. She seems cheerful enough, but she's a little moody...Ojisan is away from home so much for work that she rarely gets to spend time with him, and I think that makes her sad. She's obsessed with Junes Department Store, and every time the commercial plays on TV, she sings that ridiculous jingle. She can be a little pouty.
Nanako-chan is happy to have me, Ojisan, and all the new friends she's made since I came to Inaba. She's a much more bright and cheerful girl now than she was just few short months ago. From now on, the three of us will always be a family, no matter what.
Nanako-chan was abducted by Namatame-san and taken into the other world. She fell gravely ill after we recovered her, and actually died for almost an hour, but miraculously, she recovered. She got out of the hospital on Christmas.
ADACHI TOHRU (足立 透)
A rookie detective who works with Ojisan. Adachi-keiji is friendly enough, but it's all a lie. Everything about the Adachi-keiji we've come to know these last several months IS A LIE.
Adachi is the true culprit behind the incidents since April. He murdered Yamano-san and Saki-senpai. He tricked Namatame into throwing people into the TV world to "save" them, for his own amusement. He trapped Kubo Mitsuo in that other world so that Kubo's confession wouldn't end his "game". When we confronted Adachi about his crimes, he escaped into the other world, but we followed him, we beat the hell out of him, and now, he's in jail, where hopefully he will rot.
NAMATAME TAROU (生田目 太郎)
The disgraced council secretary who was forced to resign after his affair with the first murder victim was exposed. Beginning with Yukiko, he was responsible for most of the kidnapping incidents, but after we interrogated him in the hospital, we learned the truth: he was honestly trying to save everyone who appeared on the Midnight Channel, believing they would be slaughtered if he didn't, and he had no idea how dangerous that other world was until he faced his own Shadow.
IGOR
Igor-san is a mysterious man who I'm not even completely sure exists. He dwells within the mysterious "Velvet Room", which apparently nobody else but me seems to be aware of, and is the one who taught me about the power of Persona. He has the ability to fuse new Personas from those I've discovered.
MARGARET
The pretty assistant of Igor-san, she manages the Persona Compendium, and forecasts unusual effects that may occur when fusing Personas on certain days.
In order to learn what I'm capable of, Margaret-san asked me to fuse a number of Personas with specific skills. It took a while, but I finally fulfilled all of her requests.
KONISHI SAKI (小西 早紀)
A third-year student at Yasogami. Her family owns a liquor store in the old shopping district, but she worked at Junes part-time. Yosuke looked up to her as a senpai...until, shortly after her death, we found out what a complete bitch she really was.
MOROOKA KINSHIRO (諸岡 金四郎)
Our (former) homeroom teacher in Class 2-2. Aptly nicknamed "King Moron", Morooka was probably the biggest asshole I've ever had the misfortune to meet. He absolutely hated kids (why the hell did he become a teacher?), was convinced that the only thing anyone under 20 ever thinks about is sex, called me a loser when he introduced me to the class on my very first day at school, and was generally abusive and abrasive to every student at Yasogami. I have no idea what the fuck this asshole's problem was, but every time he ever opened his stupid mouth I wanted to break loose all of those ugly teeth.
King Moron was killed on July 10. He never appeared on the Midnight Channel.
KUBO MITSUO (久保 美津夫)
The apparent culprit in the serial murder incidents in Inaba. He used the other world to evade the police, but we tracked him down, defeated his Shadow, and remanded him to police custody.
After Shirogane Naoto was kidnapped, we realized that Kubo only committed one murder: King Moron.
THE SHRINE FOX
This strange and unusually intelligent fox apparently lives at the abandoned shrine in the shopping district. He seems to know all about what's going on, and what my friends and I are doing, and somehow invited himself to tag along with us in the other world, where he offers us healing services...for a price.
Just what IS up with this weird fox, anyway? Is it a kitsune...?
NAGASE DAISUKE (長瀬 大輔)
ICHIJO KOU (一条 廣)
Daisuke is on the school soccer team with me, and Kou is on the basketball team. When the rest of the soccer team were giving me crap for being from the city, Daisuke and Kou looked out for me and hung out with me. We became close friends.
Daisuke had been hung up on a rejection by his old middle-school girlfriend for a long time. Kou was worried about him, and finally, together, we forced him to deal with the issue so he can move on. Daisuke is in better form than ever, giving 110% in everything and running the rest of the team ragged at practice.
KONISHI NAOKI (小西 尚紀)
The younger brother of the deceased Konishi Saki. He's distressed over the china-doll treatment he's received since the murder of his sister, and has developed a rather aloof and confrontational attitude towards others...
KURODA HISANO (黒田 ひさ乃)
An elderly lady in mourning dress whose husband passed away recently. She spends her Sundays down by the river. She has a somewhat maudlin outlook, and believes herself to be Death. Apparently, I remind her of her husband when he was younger, and whenever I talk to her, she reminisces about him.
Kuroda-san feels regret that she came to resent her husband during his wasting illness, and remorse that in the end, she wished for him to die.
MINAMI ERI (南 絵里)
Minami-san is, like me, from the city; she recently married a man with a young son and moved out to the country. She hasn't formed a relationship with her stepson yet; he is very young, and seems to hate and distrust her. It's obvious she has no experience with children, and is distraught at how poorly things are going.
UEHARA SAYOKO (上原 小夜子)
A nurse who works the evening shift at the hospital. Ever since I took on a part-time job as a janitor, she's been making numerous unwanted passes at me. I'd complain about it, except it'd be a little embarrassing...
She seemed to be caught in a downward spiral of self-destructive anger, lashing out at other hospital staff with little provocation, but after collapsing from exhaustion due to overwork, she decided to leave the hospital and try to remember why she chose to walk the path in life she chose in the first place.
NAKAJIMA SHUU (中島 秀)
A junior high student I've been tutoring during the evenings. He seems to be an insufferable, condescending snot who believes himself to be smarter than everyone else, but the truth is, he's just frustrated that his entire life revolves around grades, studying, and getting into excellent schools. He desperately needs friends...and a less overbearing mother.
EBIHARA AI (海老原 あい)
This rude, stuck-up little cunt is our new "team manager". Apparently she's incredibly rich, because she constantly goes shopping and buys piles of clothes I really doubt she ever even wears. I get the feeling she's trying to fill a void in her life...
I ditched and went out with her the other day. I have no idea why. I think Yosuke's a bad influence on me...
She really seems to get off on being rude and nasty to people.
OZAWA YUMI (小沢 結実)
A girl I met at drama club practice. Since I joined, she's helped me out a lot. She was a very convincing actress, due to her desire to hide from her true self because of the pain of her life.
Her father, who left her and her mother years ago, reconciled with them on his death bed. He died in early September. After his death, Yumi quit the drama club, because she's decided she doesn't want to pretend to be other people anymore, but instead focus on who she is and what she wants for herself. I guess that's something we all need...
