Persona is a power which dwells within those who have the courage to face their true selves and admit the things about themselves which are unpleasant, shameful, or embarrassing.

I seem to be a different case, however. According to the strange long-nosed man, Igor-san, who lives in a place called "The Velvet Room", I am "like the number zero: empty, yet with nearly limitless potential". What this means in practical terms is that for some reason, I alone am able to summon multiple Personas, without having had to deal with the nightmare of facing down a shadow version of myself.

Personas are associated in some way with the Major Arcana of Tarot. They are also somehow associated with the development of strong social bonds with others, bonds that strengthen the mind and spirit and thereby also strengthen the Personas that sleep within the soul.

I guess. That's what Igor-san and Margaret-san said. It just confuses the hell out of me.

But whatever the reason, whatever the truth behind it all is, the important thing is I can summon many different, powerful Personas with which to do battle with the Shadows that infest the mysterious TV world...
