Shunned by the villagers his entire life, he finally learned upon graduation from the Konoha Ninja Academy the reason for the hateful treatment: a powerful demon fox that once ravaged the village is sealed inside his body. His desire is to make people acknowledge him by becoming one of the greatest shinobi in Leaf history.

The heir to the powerful and esteemed Hyuuga clan. Hinata lacks self-confidence and is very shy and withdrawn, which displeases other members of her family. She has spent years quietly admiring Naruto from afar, and becomes very nervous and embarrassed when he is near. As a Hyuuga, she possesses the clan bloodline limit, Byakugan, which allows her to see more and farther than anyone without this power, including seeing the flow of chakra inside others' bodies. Perceived by many to be weak, she is actually very strong and very capable, if sufficiently determined and motivated.
