A power-hungry, megalomaniacal warlord, and leader of the Decepticons. Megatron is the architect of a long and costly war over control of the planet Cybertron and its dwindling resources; as Energon grows scarce on Cybertron, both the Decepticons and their eternal enemies, the Autobots, are forced to search the galaxy for new sources of fuel. Megatron's ultimate goal is to crush the Autobots once and for all and assume his rightful place as ruler of the universe.
